The best photo for the Ozil goal AI video: one clear, front-facing photo of one person, in the clothes you want to score in. What works, what to avoid.
3 min read · Updated
The short version
One clear, front-facing photo of one person, in good light, wearing what you want to score in. The model copies what it can see, so the clearer the photo, the more the scorer looks like you.

What works
- One person in the photo.
- Face toward the camera, eyes open, nothing covering it.
- Even light: daylight from a window is ideal.
- A recent photo, so the video looks like you now.
- Your top half in shot, so the model can see your clothes.
What to avoid
- Group photos, or anyone else in the frame.
- Sunglasses, masks, hats pulled low or stickers over the face.
- Heavy filters and beauty apps: the model copies the filter, not you.
- Side-on or tilted faces.
- Dark, blurry or tiny photos, and screenshots.
- Photos of famous players, other famous people or anyone under 18. They can’t be used.
Your clothes are your kit
There’s no kit picker. Whatever you wear in the photo is what you score in, so choose the outfit before you take the photo. The clothes guide has ideas.

Questions
Can I use a group photo?
Crop it to one person first. The model needs to know who the scorer is, and a group photo leaves it guessing.
Does the photo need to be full body?
No. A clear face matters most. A photo that also shows your top half tells the model what you’re wearing.
What file types work?
JPG, PNG or WebP, under 10 MB and at least 300 pixels on each side. Use the original photo, not a screenshot or a thumbnail.
