FAQ
Before kick-off
The trend, making your video, packs and payment, and what happens to your photo.
The trend
What is the Ozil goal AI trend?
A TikTok trend, tagged #mesutozilai, where people put themselves in Mesut Özil’s place for one of his best-known goals: the chip over the keeper, the wait on the line while two defenders slide past, and the calm finish. Most people make it with a CapCut template. TryOzilGoalAI makes the full 15-second version from one photo of you.
Which goal is it?
Mesut Özil’s goal for Arsenal against Ludogorets in the 2016 Champions League group stage. He chipped the keeper, went round him, waited while two defenders slid past into the net, and rolled the ball in. Your video follows the same five beats in a stadium generated fresh for you.
What do I get?
A 15-second vertical 9:16 MP4 of you scoring the goal in five beats: you run at the keeper as he rushes out, chip it high over him as he dives, take the bounce as one defender slides in, drag it past the second, then side-foot it into the empty net. It’s filmed like the trend clip: one TV camera following you from the side, with a last shot from behind the post. No watermark. Each video is a fresh AI render, so the crowd and small moves vary from one to the next.
Does the video have sound?
Yes. The model makes the stadium sound for each video: the crowd, the ball and the net. There’s no commentary and no music, so you can add your own track when you post.
Is this connected to Özil or Arsenal?
No. TryOzilGoalAI is an independent fan tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Mesut Özil, Arsenal, UEFA or any club, league, broadcaster or CapCut. The stadium, the kits, the players and the crowd are generated fresh. No match footage is used, and nobody’s face appears but yours.
Is TryOzilGoalAI legit?
Yes. It’s an independent fan tool that makes a real 15-second video from your photo. Payment goes through Stripe, a failed video goes back into your pack automatically, an unused pack can be refunded within 14 days, and your photo is deleted after 7 days. It isn’t official: Özil, Arsenal and CapCut have nothing to do with it.
Making your video
How do I make the Ozil goal AI video?
Upload one clear photo of yourself on the home page, pick Standard 480p or HD 720p, and you get a 15-second vertical video of you scoring the goal in about 3 minutes. The other two ways are the free CapCut template, or a prompt in an AI video tool such as Kling or Seedance with your photo attached. The how-to guide walks through all three.
What photo works best?
One clear, front-facing photo of one person, in good light. A plain selfie is perfect. Avoid group shots, sunglasses, masks and heavy filters. A photo that shows your top half also shows the model what you’re wearing.
How do I keep my face the same in the Ozil goal AI video?
Use one sharp photo of your face toward the camera, in even light. The model rebuilds your face from it in every shot, so a blurry, dark or side-on photo is what makes the face drift. Leave out sunglasses, masks and heavy filters. The wide shots of the run are far from the camera; the face is clearest at the end, when you turn to the crowd.
Can I do the Ozil goal AI trend in my own clothes?
Yes: you score in whatever you wear in your photo. There’s no kit picker: a hoodie scores in a hoodie, a suit scores in a suit. If you want to play in a football shirt, take the photo in one. The keeper and defenders wear plain kits with no badges.
Can I use a friend’s photo?
Yes, if they’ve agreed to it and you have the right to use the photo. No celebrities, footballers or public figures, and nobody under 18.
Can I make it with my dog or cat?
No. The video is made for people only. The model needs a human face and body to play the goal.
Why was my photo rejected?
Usually because there’s no clear face in it, or because the video model turned it down: photos of famous players, other famous people or anyone under 18 can’t be used. Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP photo of one person facing the camera, under 10 MB. If a video fails, it goes back into your pack automatically.
How long does it take to make an Ozil goal AI video?
About 3 minutes. You can close the tab while it renders: we email you when it’s ready, and it waits for you in My videos.
Can I post it on TikTok?
Yes. The video is 9:16 with no watermark, made for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Tag it #mesutozilai to join the trend. Don’t present it as real match footage.
Is there a CapCut template for the Ozil goal AI trend?
Yes: many #mesutozilai posts link a free CapCut template. Open it in CapCut, add your photo where it asks and export. TryOzilGoalAI is not that template: it’s a separate web tool that makes the full 15-second goal from one photo, with stadium sound, in about 3 minutes. Neither one is official.
Which app makes the Ozil goal AI videos on TikTok?
Most #mesutozilai clips are made with a CapCut template or with an AI video tool such as Kling or Seedance. You don’t need an app for this one: TryOzilGoalAI runs in your phone’s browser, and the video saves straight to your camera roll.
What prompt do I use for the Ozil goal AI trend?
Use a prompt written as five timed beats: the chip over the keeper, the two sliding defenders and the finish, in a generic floodlit stadium, with your photo attached as the reference image. A free starter prompt is on the prompt page, ready to copy into Kling, Seedance or another video model. Leave out real names: many tools block them, and they pull the face away from yours.
Can ChatGPT, Gemini or Sora make the Ozil goal AI video?
A chat assistant can write the prompt, but the video needs a tool that turns your photo into video and keeps your face. Video models such as Sora or Veo may turn down photos of real people or prompts that name a famous player, and their clip lengths and limits vary. Attach your own photo, describe the goal without names, and set 9:16. Or upload your photo here and skip the prompt.
Do I need to write a prompt?
No. The beats, the stadium and the timing are built in. You upload one photo and press Make my video. If you want to try another tool, the prompt page has a free starter prompt.
Packs and payment
How much does it cost?
Two videos are $9.90, six are $19.90 and ten are $29.90. Each is a 15-second vertical video. A Standard 480p video uses 1 video from the pack, HD 720p uses 2. You pay once: there’s no subscription.
Can I do the Ozil goal AI trend for free?
Yes, two ways: the free CapCut template, or the free starter prompt from our prompt page pasted into the free tier of an AI video tool, with your photo attached. Free tiers usually come with limits such as watermarks, shorter clips, a daily cap or a few retries. Here every video is a full 15-second render paid from a one-time pack, from two videos for $9.90, with no free credits or trial videos.
Do my videos expire?
No. Unused videos stay in your pack with no time limit, and finished videos stay in My videos until you delete them.
What if my video fails?
It goes back into your pack automatically. Nothing to claim and no one to email. Try again, usually with a clearer photo.
Can I get my money back?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase if you haven’t used any videos from the pack: email us from the address on your account. Failed videos go back into your pack automatically, without asking.
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled by Stripe, with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We never see or store your card number.
What if I close the payment page?
Nothing is charged unless Stripe confirms the payment. If you paid and then closed the page, the videos are still added to your account: refresh the page or open My videos. If you closed it before paying, buy the pack again from Pricing whenever you like.
Your photo and privacy
What happens to my photo?
It’s used only to make your video and is deleted automatically 7 days after upload. Your finished videos stay in your account until you delete them.
Can I use a photo of a celebrity or a kid?
No. No celebrities, footballers or public figures, and no one under 18. Only upload photos of yourself or someone who has agreed to it, and that you have the rights to use.
